How Clara Via Began

My name is Audrey Martinez, and Albuquerque, New Mexico has always been home to me—it’s where my story began and where my heart remains. As a wife and mother of two young children, I’m constantly reminded how precious and fleeting time can be, and how deeply we cherish the people we love. Those experiences have shaped not only who I am, but why I feel so strongly called to this work.

I’ve always had a heart for helping others, especially during life’s most difficult and emotional moments. I know how overwhelming those times can feel, and how important it is to have someone there who can offer both guidance and genuine care. Clara Via was created from that place—a desire to bring comfort, clarity, and a steady hand when it’s needed most.

My goal is simple: to help ease the weight of difficult moments so families can focus on what truly matters—being present with one another, honoring their loved ones, and finding peace in the midst of it all.

End-of-life doulas provide meaningful emotional, spiritual, and bedside support during the final stages of life. At Clara Via, our focus is on helping individuals and families navigate the practical side of preparing for life’s transition.

We help organize important information, simplify next steps, support family conversations, and reduce the overwhelm that often comes with planning and preparation. From important documents and home organization to coordination and guidance, our role is to bring clarity, calm, and peace of mind during a difficult time.
